OKJ Construction Company
OKJ Construction Company is a Class A General Contracting Firm specializing in Commercial Construction. Our Company was incorporated in May, 2006 and is centrally located on Route 143 in Williamsburg, Virginia.

The Owners and Officers of OKJ Construction are:

• Martha F. Morris - President, Project Manager and Accounting/Office Manager
• Jeffrey Bunch - Corporate Secretary and Superintendent / Estimator
• Alan Harris - Vice-President and Superintendent / Estimator

These individuals have worked together as a team for O.K. James Construction, Inc., previously located in Williamsburg, Virginia ranging from five to twenty-five years.

OKJ Construction Company offers the advantage of longevity, personalized Owner active participation, team work, commitment and the knowledge and dedication to exceed requirements and complete a quality project on schedule and within budget. Our central location offers the advantage of a timely response to project meetings and contributes to immediate assistance and rectification of concerns that may arise during the daily workings of a construction project. It is our experience that, during our 20+ years of working together, being locally based contributes to the success of a project as well as allows us to better address continued needs after completion and acceptance.

With locally based subcontractors, we can offer a twenty-four hour response to warranty calls. The subcontractors that construct the project address these calls and are familiar with the building type as well as the contacts on the job. We make it a practice to avoid subcontracting the warranty, repair and/or maintenance calls to unfamiliar contractors as can be protocol with contractors that are not locally based.

We maintain a well-established working relationship with local County and City Staff and Inspectors and are well versed in each locality’s individual building codes and zoning requirements.
